Why Holistic Practitioners Should Join
The Healing Link
Something we kept coming back to…
There are so many incredible practitioners out there doing genuinely meaningful work…
and yet, so many of them are still hard to find – it’s something we kept coming back to.
Last summer, I found myself going over the same questions again and again…
How do I create something that works for my health, my family, and our future?
How do I earn enough to support us – without burning myself out in the process?
On one side, you have people who are looking for support – often feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or just not quite finding what they need.
On the other, there are practitioners offering thoughtful, supportive work… but relying on social media, word of mouth, or chance to be discovered.
And somewhere in between, there’s a bit of a disconnect and that’s really where
The Healing Link began.
Not from a place of wanting to build another directory, if anything, we were quite conscious that there are already plenty of those but from wanting to create something that actually helps people find the right kind of support but also helps practitioners connect with clients who are genuinely aligned and would benefit from what they offer.
Because being visible isn’t always the issue.
It’s being seen by the right people, at the right time.

For example, someone might be struggling with anxiety or emotional overwhelm.
They know they need support, but beyond that… they’re not really sure what kind. So, they start searching, maybe scrolling, maybe asking around – and it can still feel unclear and possibly overwhelming.
What we’re trying to do is gently step into that space and make it a bit easier.
Instead of leaving people to figure everything out alone, we take a bit of time to understand what’s going on for them, what they feel open to, and then help guide them towards practitioners who may genuinely be able to support them.
That might be a hypnotherapist.
It might be energy work
It might be nutritional therapy
It might be something they hadn’t even considered yet.
And from a practitioner’s point of view, that changes things because now you are not just another name on a list, hoping the right person happens to come across you. You’re being connected with people who are already looking for support – and who, in many cases, may never have found your work otherwise.
The same applies in other situations too.
Someone dealing with ongoing fatigue, for example, might not realise there are different ways of approaching that support. With a bit of guidance, they might be introduced to therapies they hadn’t considered, which opens up new possibilities for them, and new connections for practitioners.
That’s a big part of what sits at the heart of this. It’s not about directing people down one path, it’s about opening things up a little, so they can find what feels right for them.
We also know that for practitioners, a lot of time and energy can go into just trying to be visible.
Posting, promoting, updating profiles… it can feel like a constant effort, and not always one that leads to meaningful enquiries.
The intention with The Healing Link is to take some of that pressure off – not by replacing what you already do, but by supporting it with something more connection-led.
And alongside all of that, there’s something else that feels just as important, the sense of community.
A lot of practitioners are working independently, often without much opportunity to connect with others, share ideas, or refer on when it feels right – we’d really like to shift that where we can. To create something that feels more collaborative – where practitioners can support each other, learn from different approaches, and feel part of something that’s working towards the same goal.
Because ultimately, when practitioners are more connected, clients tend to benefit too.
This isn’t about building something fast or transactional. It’s about creating something that feels considered, supportive, and genuinely useful – for both the people seeking help, and the practitioners offering it.
That’s what The Healing Link is here for.
